Love "stolen by a friend, I don't know which one" - must cause him to cast a wide net of suspicion over all his friends all the time - a therapist would suggest that he try to resolve the uncertainty - imagine having a beer with a friend, any friend, with the constant lurking suspicion that he or she was the one who stole the cord that goes from the guitar to the amp. Hard times for all.
