I dont even own one pedal anymore! I think if I want effects I will just have to look into a modeling amp. Or maybe a nice all in one type of thing. I am so out of place in this thread!

I'm now working on the best configuration for the pedals. I know I need to shift a few around... that's a fun project!

From LMG III, Doyle Dykes pedal board...he was using a brown-face Vibrolux Reverb (supplied from our host's vault, I suspect) and a Fender Acoustisonic (150 ??)...

I just noted the heat shrink over every phone jack...smooth!

There was some "localized" debate over what he was using for compression, don't know if anyone actually asked him afterwards...

Hey RussB, how do you like your Strymon Flint? I thought their combining a quality reverb and trem in one pedal was brilliant.

cheers

Cheap and messy, but effective, (no pun intended) and more than I usually need.

The "Rev/Vib" footswitch is to turn the reverb and tremolo off on my Mergili outboard spring reverb/Tremolo, or on those rare occasions I still use my Super Reverb, to turn off/on the 'verb and trem on that.

So far, so good. I've had it for about a week. The Flint is very nice. Cool trem's in that box, and the reverb is great. I have a tap tempo switch coming so I can set tremolo speed on the fly

I'm using the "green" tap delay mode with the band. I set the Carbon Copy for slap back.

At home I keep noodling around with the features...the QL has a lot of features! The filter is cool with over the top distortion, and I'm experimenting with the Flanger some. There are just so many options and settings...this pedal will take me years to explore

Walter - where did you get that footswitch for the rev/trem for the reverb unit or SR? That looks like a good idea with the LED indicator lights.

Jeff, my amp tech made it for me. The outboard reverb came with a regular footswitch without the lights, and I found that impractical on stage.

Have you reset the mode/tap for .8ths to 1/4 note toggle. I love the warm delay sounds and the flanger is cool too.

Below I have pictured my pedal board. Has anyone given any thought to multi effects units? I see there is quite a variety available. I have started here with the basics, and can add from on as needed.

The Byds2 box is for my Rickenbacker 12 string. I use the Korg A/B tuner, and TC Electronics tuner whenever playing in public. A Guild 12 string can sound great while in tune, but I won't let it get out of tune.

Hi Craig,Yes I really like this pedal board.
Thanks to this post I did buy the Boss BCB-60 and do like it. (See my previous post). This board is light and portable.

I found I can save some time by coiling the power supply wire into the recessed area, and use an extension chord. Otherwise the inside of the board gets all snarled up with loose wire, and won't snap shut.
