ever notice when people say "just sayin'" the implication is that there isn't any agenda associated with what they just said, when in fact, their agenda couldn't be more obvious?

Guess that goes under the category of "The Games People Play".

Kind of like "let's you and him fight"

Just sayin.

I use it all the time to signal that I understand there is room for disagreement but I am not necessarily committed enough to get into a flame war about it.

Frono, that's about the best definition I've ever seen. It's like, "This is my opinion.... but I don't wanna get into it with you if you disagree." Kinda like that. Yup. And I'm not gonna end my post with "Just Sayin" because I'll fight to the death on this..... :smiley_simmons:

So...how should one end their statement(s) if they're are looking for a fight to the death? :abnormal:

I answer rhetorical questions.

I tend to not add emoticons or other signals when I am prepared to fight because someone is wrong on the internet. So just sayin', IMO, IMHO, YMMV and such indicate I am not trying to pick a fight.

"And your point is?" however is a slap in the face with a virtual gauntlet, except when it isn't :)

Withholding emoticons can be interpreted as a form of passive aggressive behavior and is a characteristic of flame wars found on the intra-webs in old folks homes.
Otherwise I'd agree with ya to the death. Violently.
Just sayin'.
