Sounds pretty miserable, with no real 'cure'. Sorry that Joni, or anyone has to put up with those symptoms.

Modern medicine. If they can't put a name on it or test for it, then it couldn't possibly exist. As if they know so much. I've heard reports that these "fibers" they pull out of the lesions have been analysed to death and .... they can't identify them. At all.

I wish they'd post an update on her condition. No more word since her hospitalization, is there?

The info is kind of sparse tom, but this was just on Rolling Stone's Facebook page. Sounds cautiously optimistic. One silver lining is that maybe Joni can quit smoking if she spends enough time in the hospital.
