New to the forum and really like what I see here. I've been away from guitars for a very long time and was never much of a player, but I've always had a passion for great guitars.

Hope to learn a lot more from the members here over the coming months and I'll do my best to follow all forum guidelines, rules, and ethics.

Below are the two recent acquisitions that renewed my "spark" to jump back in after all these years.

Welcome lostdog. In honor of your introductory Bluesbirds, may I suggest names for them. I'd recommend calling them OH! and MY!

Welcome, and what a tremendous return to guitars! What a stunning pair! (A compliment that I rarely give to males.)

Lostdog - now you are found! :D Welcome to LTG, I'm sure you'll have a good time here, especially as GAS for other Guilds presents itself. Definitely a lovely pair you have.

Thanks for the great welcome everyone, it's really appreciated. And thanks for all of the positive comments about the guitars. Some great camaraderie on here, and some really great humor too!

Thunderface: Thanks for the naming suggestions, they really made me laugh (in a good way).

AcornHouse: Thanks for another great chuckle!

Bluespicky: I'm in Vero Beach, Fl.

The Guilds of Grot: Both are Westerly '99's (many thanks to Hans M. for confirming that).

Since "Guilds are made to be played," I'm going to spend some time working on that while trying to listen and learn on here.

Thanks,

That was my intention. I'll even let you decide which one you call OH! and which one you call MY! :D

Welcome aboard, Lost Dog!
"Ethics" is good, but we'll try to help you smooth off those rough edges about "rules" and "guidlines"...this place'd be real bore if everybody followed 'em....

Careful though, that might leave no option about what to name number three... :D
