I’m picking this up on Wednesday after work

Sadly guilds aren’t popular around my spot and if there is one it’s either a Chinese made guild or no electronic nor cutaways and way past my pay grade .

Maybe someday I’ll find something

So does he actually sign every guitar, or is that printed onto the label?

Good looking guitar, BTW. Congrats!

Thanks and honestly I think it’s just printed , my 96 810 you could tell it was hand signed but that’s too neat lol

Do Taylor fans make distinctions between El Cajon, Lemon Grove, Santee, etc. or is it like Guild that all the facilities made good guitars?

I think yes they do, in order: Lemon Grove, Santee, El Cajon. At least the value of the pre-Santee guitars (up to 1987 in Lemon Grove) is higher. The Lemon Grove Taylors represent a time in Taylor's history when Bob Taylor and a small crew did all the building.

Don't knock the Chinese Guilds - they're of excellent quality, and can certainly tide you over until you find a US one. Or check out Reverb, Musician's Friend, Sweetwater, Music-go-round for used deals and buy online.

Yes. Lemon Grove is their Hoboken or Westerly early years. Pre heavy. Say to 1972 Westerly.

The 810 is a fantastic dreadnaught guitar.
I would love a Lemmon grove 510. Those are premium.

One of the sweetest guitars I've ever had!!
I don’t know how they make such a little guitar sound so big ! But the guild jumbo has always been a favourite.

And yeah I like pictures 😂 you should see my Facebook lol
