Ok for all you 12-o-philes.... If you could only have one 12-er, which would it be? You don't necessarily have to own it.

I know the obvious answer would be the F612 for many people, but for discussion's sake, lets assume the 612 doesn't exits.

Urgh! Don't make me choose! Right now, I feel like I have the perfect collection of 12s (for those who like big guitars, that is, as I do). The recent addition of the F-212XL Standard has really done it for me.

If I had to choose to keep one, it would have to be my Ibanez AW-75 12 because it has sentimental value. That notwithstanding, it would be a tough choice between the F-212XL Standard and the F-512. Probably the -512.

I should mention that I've never had an opportunity to play a Hoboken F-312, much as I'd like to. I have lusted after one for quite a while, but cannot justify it.

I am quite content with my first year issue F-112. The deep-body F-30 design, the neck profile, the sound and the Mojo of this particular box.

+4 on the Moodies and Justin Hayward. Not too long ago , obtained the DVD that those clips are from. Great DVD. Just Justin in the studio doing acoustic versions of a bunch of his/Moodies songs. He has a few Guilds.

Long time Moodies fan

I'm loving my westerly F212XL....I have great respect for the JF30-12 as well....it was the first Guild 12er that I ever played and pretty much changed my view of 12 string guitars forever.
