Dang!! I'd have a hard time lending my GF-25 out...

Poor kid; she must be sick with regret. :(

If the violin had been in my care when I was 19 I'd have either stepped on it or sat on it :? .

Reminds me of my first no-name 12-string guitar. I was playing it in the barracks way back when as my buddies were playing poker. I laid it in it's (open) case on the floor while I went to the head... Meanwhile, Keith Collins staggers up from the poker table for another brewsky and falls right into the case. Flattented that ole flattop out like a scrunched 1/8" piece of plywood... Keith felt real bad about it and gave me $40.00 as I recall.

I went guitarless until I won an old Goya in a poker game about a year later... Those were the days; glad they're behind...

When I was a teen I left my trombone on the Boston MTA. I think it was worth $19.65. Did manage to hunt it down and get it back much to the disappointment of the guy who sat first chair in the Boston J.S.O. Wouldn't be a teenager again for all the tea in Taiwan.

Ouch! My brother stepped on my Guild F copy years ago and put a big hole in it (don't know what it was doing on the floor, I didn't ask). He thought I'd kill him when he showed it to me but I just smiled and said it just gives me a reason to get a real Jumbo Guild. It was a good copy though.
