$10K for pickups that are worth about $2.23 in parts! :shock: I hope postage is free...

They would be ultra low impedance pickups & would need a preamp to provide a decent level signal. I wonder how much the matching preamp is going for! :wink:

Remember, you are not buying bass guitar pickups. You are buying an artifact associated with Les Paul. I'd guess you are paying about $8,999 for that association. Since that association means very little to me personally I'd rather spend the money on a pre-1970 Starfire or M-85 in "OMG - was this ever out of its case?!!!" condition. Maybe even one of each if I relax the condition requirement.

Nice find, though. IIRC the Jack Casady Signature bass has a PU that was based on a Les Paul design.
