Hello everyone. I found your awesome site through google. I have a guitar that someone left in my parents attic years ago that I came back across and decided to try and get some info on. Being a drummer I don't know a lot about guitars but after some research i believe it to be a 1972 S-100 deluxe. I have been told that the tremolo arm is pretty easily replaced and I believe the lower pick up has been changed but the main problem is that it is missing the bridge at the bottom. I have had it to two local repair shops and have been told by both that they can't locate one that will fit it. Any chance you guys could point me in the direction of one that would work? Thanks for your time!

That pic is waaaaayyyyy too big to post, but you have a S-100 with the original HB-1 at the neck and a replacement pup at the neck. It has a Bigsby vibrato. Blackrider Guitars has the springs, handle and hardware. The bridge is missing, that will take a little more effort to find.
Welcome, and I wish somebody would abandon a guitar like that at MY house. :-D

Thanks for the reply! Sorry about the big pic. Maybe these will be better. Yeah on that bridge I'm not even sure what to search for. Does it have a specific name I can search for? Is there any other bridge on the market that will work with it? I'd really love to get it up and running because I bet it would sound amazing!

Wow, that's a great find.

Was a Bigsby a special order on a '72? It also has a phase switch.

Welcome to LTG! Assuming you live in the US and like TVeye already proposed, Ken Nash might have the right missing parts for you: http://www.theguitarmechanic.com/GuildBridge.html
Ken just moved his shop to 91 Walker Hill Rd., Groton, CT, so he is no longer in New London, CT. But e-mail should work and probably also phone.

Yes, we'd love an update of what happens with this beautiful guitar.

Guilbsy was available as an option (S-100 Deluxe). Phase switch became standard in '72 (optional before that).
