The seller has willingly answered the questions I've had and sent additional pictures. I'm just not sure what it's worth. If the price is fair or not. I know D25's can be had for less and I don't know why this one, crack and all has my interest piqued.

Does anyone know if D25M Spec truly means just upgraded tuners?

Yum Yum Yum. Nice guitar. I could swear I have seen some of those pics before. Maybe the seller put it up on ebay in the past. As for the "special" I have no clue. 800 does seem a little high, but hopefully you could win on a bid. Good luck if you go for it.

Nice looking 25. Can't tell you about the tuner upgrade.

I will however give a thumbs up to the K&K western pickup. I installed one on my D-35 and love it. Also installed one in my Martin with equally positive results. Very clear, transparent sound. The natural woody-ness, if that's even a word, comes thru. If you want the electro piece of the puzzle I'd consider the K&K a plus.

I've bought a beauty from another member here and she is being 'made ready' for shipment to Australia. I have looked at this one....yea, looks mighty fine! all ready to play and enjoy, looking for a good home! ........ If ye got the doe, Go with the flow! WHO wouldnt be happy one one of these on their laps? I say, Go get'er, southern :wink:

I'm by no means an expert on that vintage but we've seen lots of instances where the "spec" label is applied for the simplest little variation like that. And then sometimes not!
