Hayman has /had ties with Burns guitars , similar guitars today under the brand Shergold. They gave up the weird electronics, though..
I knew a guy who had a Hayman bass. It was pretty wierd, but he liked it. If I remember correctly, the instruments have no taper to the neck - parallel sides for the full length.
Mike Rutherford of Genesis was a fan of the Hayman/Shergold stuff.
I like how they manage to cram Eric Clapton's name into the ad without actually saying he had anything to do with these.
