That's a very early logo. This on my '53 X-375 ...My vintage M75 has this Guild logo that I haven't seen on any other models. Has anyone seen this style of the logo on any other Guilds? The font seems different than others I've seen and I've never seen it with the peak filled in like this.

Correct on the serial number, nothing on the headstock. I misread your reply so I'm editing- there is a black plate around the toggle switch, yes.Hello kaciekaos,
Welcome! Like Wilmywood stated, that's an early one; late '53 or early '54. It probably won't have a serial number on the back of the headstock, but I do expect it to have the black plate w. 3 screws around the toggle switch, right?
Sincerely,

yes I see that now! sorry for misreading, yes the plate around the toggle switch is black!Hello kacie,
Not talking about a back plate; I meant a round plate in which the toggle switch is mounted on the top!

Hi Hans, allow me to be curious, where would an Aristocrat from that era have the serial number? Did they mark them under the tailpiece? It probably won't have a serial number on the back of the headstock...
