Dave, I'm very comforted to read about your current situation. For any support / help I / we gave you back then, I give you a collective "you're welcome!" Money == stress... But, it's only a means to an end. Part of that "end" is enjoying / sharing your love for these instruments and the music they make. Anyway, glad to hear all's well and you're back in the Guild fold. In the words of my ancestors... mazel tov (good luck / congrats).

Don't be a stranger.

Hello to all at LTG,

A special hello and thanks to everyone who in 2010 responded to my post!

That was a tough time for me and many others, and still is for many. As my post explained then, I was at the tail end of bad situation resulting in having to sell my small collection Guild guitars.

My family and I are in much better shape in 2013. Steady work has allowed us to dig out of the financial hole we were in. Enough so that I was able to purchase a Guild once again at the end of last year, 1984 D46, and another this year, 1985 MKS-10. It's so nice to come home after a long day's work and relax in the evening making music with a sweet sounding guitar.

Thanks again to all,

In 20 years you'll look back at the good times and the bad times and you'll have a good understanding of what you consider to be important. When you know that, you can fully accept and appreciate yourself. There's peace in that. Enjoy. :)

Glad I checked out this thread Dave. Something I've learned to believe in and another proof positive, that things will always have a way of working out. :)
