Hey, guys, I own a 1978 Guild S-300d, and have done so for 5 years with a GIG BAG. This is not what this guitar deserves. I just had it serviced, and it really plays great and sounds great now. However, I can't find any hardshell guitar cases that fit it. Pretty much none at all. Does anyone know of any guitar cases that do fit the S300-d that would be easy to find? Thanks!

They pop up on ebay from time to time. Gotta be patient, and diligent.

Mine is in a standard Guild retangular hardshell case with the body compartment an open rectangle (not form fitting). You see them on eBay occassionally, as mentioned in the previous post. I have usually paid in the $50 range for them. Their "big" solidbody shapes like the S-300 and X-79 fit fine in those.
