Greetings Players ! I saw this on Ebay last night , and the paper label style or model's number isn't like my 2001 ( one of the last from Westerly )
The case I've got is screen-printed Guild , but this one's got a screw-on badge . It all looks very new .
I don't think they're being made again , so when was this one made ?

Thanks ,

Neil

Looks like it could be a Corona Guild label. They did make them there after 2001, I believe.

I've been looking at that one for awhile to see where it goes. It is a Corona California model, Most likely 2003-2004.

The 2nd and 3rd characters are not 100% clear, but the serial number appears to be CX600071. It looks very clean to me, and at $2100 is a good deal.

The listing shows the s/n to be "CX00071". The label looks like the one on my X550P which is Corona-made.

That X500 looks real nice! (By the way, I'm not the Jeff of Jeffsmusicgear, the ebay seller!)

It does look nice but it has some small Finish issues at the strap button from Strap wear. The thing I notice the most is the strangely Dark tinted long "Grain" in the back of the neck wood that almost looks like it could be a repaired crack that has been finished over. It could just be the Grain of the wood but it looks out of place to me. Here is what I am Talking about.
