Wow (to the price). The seller asserts "Exclusive to Guild Guitar Dealers Only" which may have been true in Europe but not in the USA. My recollection is that MSRP was about $150, they were available for much less if you looked and there was every indication that the logo was licensed.

I doubt that would be a cheap process. Again, these have been sold in the past for a small fraction of what this seller is asking so just be patient and then pounce.

I paid $100 for mine a few years ago from an area music store (who had it on Reverb.)

Like any one-off, it would be more expensive than the tons of them that were banged out for dealers, (similar to the beer signs one sees in every bar, restaurant, pool hall, and man cave).

Being a property mgr that includes a bar/restaurant/Marina....real neon signs aren't cheap. Our distributors/salesmen are really picky about them. Many are now being replaced w/ "fake neon" which is a plastic shell backlit w/ LED lights. Real neons that have a guitar, or motorcycle, or palm tree, or a Maryland blue crab, or any sports franchise logo/Ford/Chevy/Harley go for hundreds on the aftermarket.

The current official Guild store sells a sign...I presume it's likely an LED backlit one.
