Guild sighting on Australian morning TV.

Working from home today as I often am & pocrastinating as I often am...I pick up the D50 to give it a strum, then glance at the TV which is muted & spy a big, blond & beautiful F50 adorning a not too shabby blonde called Tamara Stewart .

Never really heard of her before (Australian country singer) but found some clips of her with aforementioned guitar:

F50R I think it is mate, maybe an ealier model as I think the later ones had abalone rosettes ? Very similar looking to my '77.

You're right Ian, it's an F50R on those clips but I'm sure it was an F50 on the TV this morning, so it seems she's got a few. She should become a member here!

Rugby? Was there a game on? Must have missed it - couldn't have been too important. I was watching the league anyway.






Yeah, OK, the All Blacks were never a doubt. One of the morning programs is trying to have a "Hug a Kiwi" day as some sort of trans-Tasman solidarity. I'm all for it if it means hugging Rachel Hunter!

OK, I found some video of the actual performance & I goofed - not an F50 - smaller, block inlays , maple body, Chesterfield logo - F40 or F47?

Song starts at about 4.40, the talk before that is how she lost 40 kilograms (close to 90lbs :shock: ):
