Note the link to webmaster. Line 6 has a pretty nice site, and it’s functional, so there is hope...
Interesting but no wonder as YGG was created out of the former Line 6.

"In 2014 Line 6 became a part of the Yamaha family, creating a network of global collaboration which, in 2017, led to the creation of the first-ever Guitar Division within Yamaha. This culminated in the formation of Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc. in 2018."

From the Line 6 year 2012 homepage, same address as now YGG:

Before Line 6 moved there they were in Agoura Hills, here their old year 2005 address:

Great, and thanks for posting Ralf. I look at this and just wonder.........sheew........how does one company change hands so many times? Yes, I know some companies do, but I've never seen a guitar company change hands like this. Then again, each and every owner appears to have reverence for the brand, and that's cool. What is this......7 or so owners in the past 50 years? Can anyone name them all? Hans?

Success!

I was suspicious of receiving the “Internal Server Error” when attempting to move onto the Checkout page. I’ve seen this behavior before, so...

I created an account and, once logged in, I returned to my Cart. I was able to waltz through Checkout, receiving an Order Confirmation. Very smooth. (BTW, I ordered a leather coaster… okay, and a new jumbo case…)

The URL of the page that displays the Internal Server Error, https://my.guildguitars.com/account/login_co.html, reveals the problem:

Attempting to move to Checkout, the site is expecting an authorized User (No provision is made for “Guest” which is why it errors).

To use the site and successfully Checkout, visit the page linked here to check to see if you already have an account, https://my.guildguitars.com/account/login.html

If not, create a new account (a button is included on the page). The direct link to create a new account is: https://my.guildguitars.com/account/create.html

NOW

Visit shop.guildguitars.com to add your items to your Cart and Checkout

NOTE: If I "Sign Out" of my account and attempt to Checkout (from my Shopping Cart) I receive the Internal Server Error, same as before.

I have tested this repeatedly, and it works.

I’m glad to see the web site changing, kinda thought it would when Yamaha bought Guild and Cordoba. I hope we get some better quality T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats. I got a T-shirt and hat a couple of years ago and was pre disappointed in the quality.

Yes, and I see the Tacoma Guitar Company in there as well (Wiki), but then realized Tacoma was owned by Fender.......I think? I was also thinking Jerre Haskew worked for yet a different company not on this list or that I can find on Wiki. I was thinking there was a three letter company in there somewhere. Very colorful history for sure......really colorful on your chart. 😊 Thanks GAD.

Not sure, I had tried to find references once:

I think I was somewhere in Sweden in the late 70s, with someone named Helga… she was. big girl… strong hands… and I was hanging by my feet from the barn rafters… or maybe I just dreamed it...

Keep on dreaming 😂

In the parts where I come from - we have this question - "What's the difference between a terrorist and Ostrobotnian woman?" - answer - "One can negotiate with a terrorist."

Though the Parts page has yet to be populated, it appears they have repaired the fault in the online Shop, and it is working again.
