Hello All;
I have a Guild Model D100-NT-CRV that has the serial number EG100154. Its a fantastic guitar.
Can anyone tell me the meaning of all these letters?
Also I would like to know when it was made, and its value.
If you have any information you can email @ kikakila@comcast.net
Thanks,

The NT means Natural finish, the CRV means you should have the carved heel.

According to the online charts, the last D-100 built in 1993 was EG1000148, and the 1994 models had an AD prefix. Those online charts are alot of times wrong, but Hans Moust, our expert on all things Guild will be along with the straight news.

Value depends alot on condition. Are you looking to sell? 8)

Any pics?

You have a great Guild.
It was a limited production guitar, made from the best of woods.
I would consider it a collectible but would not have any idea of the value.
How did you come by it?

I just bought one in excellent condition for right under $2900, so that would be my estimation of value if yours is also in excellent condition.

I have a D-100 C that was made in 2000 with active fishman electronics. According to the blue book of guitars (9th edition) it should be worth between $3,100 and $3,600 in excellent condition. Without the active fishman it should be worth $2,900 and $3,400 in excellent condition. The last MSR was $3,999. Fantastic and beautiful guitar.

I've never seen one that had the RV designation though. The "C" signifies carved heel.

Hey, what's the best way to post the pictures? Put them on a free image site and publish the URL?

http://www.imgur.com is by far the fastest. There is no registration, just post a pic (from the front page you can do this), then on the next screen you'll see a link to the picture. Copy it, then use the "Img" button on the reply post and put the url between the img tags. OK?

Sorry guys, the D100 will be with me when I die. From my limited research I don't think there were more than a few hundred even made, it should continue to increase in value as long as I don't mess it up somehow.

A: Without a solid base of dedicated fanatical loyalists to a given brand, most of these so-called collectibles will fall to an average of 80-90% of their original retail value and then stay there well into our chldren's lifetimes.... This helps to insure that those who can play them can afford them!
B: Welcome to to LTG, Mr Solomon!
C: Your backyard has the telltales of a California suburb, as a California native I'm willing to come make a personal apprasial of your instruments. I won't over-estimate their value just 'cause they're a bunch of pretty faces!
D: Welcome to LTG, Mr Solomon!
