Guild HB-1s. Need more volume!

Hi all. I noticed the knobs on my S-100 only go up to 9. I'd like to get a bit more volume from my HB-1s so wondering where I can get suitable knobs that go up to 10 (or better yet, 11!).

I think the reissue knobs go to 10 but don't say "tone" and "volume" on them. What you have fetches a pretty penny. Keep 'em and get an amp that goes to 'leven. :lol:

Ha, you added that last line later didn't you Kent? I just recently noticed that the knobs only went to 9 & thought it a little odd - I don't think I have seen that elsewhere & sought to get some more info. So, no, not really looking for some newer knobs. Sorry.

Last night, I ordered a pizza & the guy asked if I wanted it cut into 6 or 8 pieces. I said "Oh no, just 6! I'm trying to get on a diet & there's no way I should be eating 8 pieces of pizza"... he looked at me kinda funny...can't understand why...

And, in case you guys are drinking (perhaps especially if you are), you might also want to note that by starting at 0 the knobs with 10 on them really do have 11 positions on them!! Yeah, that's just the (slightly tipsy) computer scientist in me coming out.

No amp could really handle 10 from the HB-1's so they had to stop at 9 just to be on the safe side.
