Anyone familiar with the G41 (1975 I believe). I'm going to take a peek at one tonight, but I haven't the slightest idea on what it might be worth. Or specs? Little info out there. Any thoughts are appreciated!
Many thanks!

Hi Brent: There's a G41 Craigslisted Here. A 17" mahogany Dread says the seller with a reasonable description and decent pics. Good luck. CJ

Hello Brent,

The G-41 is a jumbo dreadnought.

Here's a catalog page on it:

Notice that the scale is 26-1/4"!

And for what it's worth, here's a photo of mine:

As for price, I'd say $800 to $1200 depending on condition and whether there's a case or not.

Hope this helps!

I WANT!!!!!

How does it play? Does it feel more comfortable than a standard sized dread?

Thanks gang. The one on craigslist is the VERY one I was going to peek at. I was TOO slow and it was purchased while I was at work!! Argh! (I was #2 in line).

Looked like a nice guitar at a great price. I didn't know it had a slightly longer scale. Bet it would make a killer baritone! But alas...the "snooze and lose" axiom applied to me today.

Appreciate all the input.
Next! ; )

According to the gospel of Hans, the longer scale makes it a bit difficult to play. I'm sure that it's a matter of personal taste. It's got a big body, too!
