This may be the photo you're asking about. I took it late summer/early fall of '01.
It's the final guitar thru Westerly production; a Benedetto AA (Rick shown checking relief here)...

AA, I think it's a TastyCakes facility. At least that's what I heard a couple of years ago. Also, my understanding was that the facility got damaged a bit (partially underwater) in some serious storms that hammered southern CT and RI over the last couple of years. But I suspect it's back in action. Do I have that right, hideglue?

Last I knew that was right, Chaz. Basically a subdivided warehouse for different area vendors.

Thankyou for that . I hate the way big Companies buy up small ones , and then destroy them though ignorance
and profit chasing. There's always a pile of pen-pushing , office-dwellers who know nothing of why something
worked as it did. I love my Guilds , and so many other players are not going to own and appreciate an X500 etc
of their own ......

A couple of questions :

How long was Bob Benedetto instructing on his design changes for his models ?
What sort of salary ( guitar construction ) would have been paid back in 2001 ?
How much notice did the staff receive of plant closure ?

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, if you are referring to Fender and Guild you might consider starting a new thread and presenting some facts that support your opinion.
