Impressive - I'm intrigued by your pedal board -what do you use?

Depends what you're needs are. Are you gonna play live with a drummer? Are you just jamming with friends in a garage sort of way?
I don't think you can go wrong with a Fender Princeton Reverb as mentioned previously. 15 tube watts can be pretty loud, but if you push it too far in a live situation you're gonna get break-up...which is actually what some are actually looking for but you might want clean. A Deluxe Reverb w/ the extra 7 watts and 12" speaker will stay clean at higher volumes but not hit the tube amp "sweat spot" at volumes you can live with. Both have good reverb and trem....which IMO really sound great with a big hollowbody w/ Franz pu's. I pretty much just play by myself in my basement so my 5 watt DeLisle Nickle Box Combo w/ reverb and trem is perfect for me.

That's my "grab and go" board.

PedalBoard-1.jpg

That board contains (signal order, which is right to left, bottom then top):

ST-200 Turbo-Tuner
Ibanez TS-808 with true-bypass and Keeley Plus Mod
A BYOC E.S.V. germanium Fuzz-Face clone that I built. Case is lacquered gold leaf.
A BYOC Shredmaster clone that I built. Case is strips painted by my daughters.
Nocturne Dyno Brain - The pre-amp from a Roland RE-301 in a pedal.
Strymon El Capistan - the closest I've ever come to a Roland RE-301. It's really great.

The last item on there is a Strymon favorite switch.

I had a fairly significant pedal problem for a while, now I just keep that one for "Real" amps. I generally use an Axe-FX otherwise.

I had this for a while, but I hated moving it. I'm too old for big amps and big boards. I'm a nerd, so I had more fun designing and building it than I did actually using it.

That is incredibly clean work, GAD!

I've been planning a big build for quite a while. It's going to be a modular setup with 3 Pedaltrain Jr's. For small rigs/ ease of use, I would just take the center PTJr, for more variation, I'd take center and right, and when I want to get really weird, I'd add the third (left) board.

I have all the parts, but none of the time needed to complete the build. But I am REALLY eager to get this done!

Thanks! I design and build networks for a living, and I have a thing about sloppy wires.

I was actually more proud of the bottom. :)

Sorry about the thread-jack OP. As you can see, we have a problem staying on-mission here. :)
