Big 12 string makes the player seem kind of small. As my brother might say, "It's an optical confusion."

One of MM Murphy's biggies, and his cowboy songs are the best, probably because he IS a cowboy.

I remember explaining this song one morning to my daughter, then 6, who loved it upon hearing it. she was tearful as I explained the lyrics...."thats the saddest song EVER dad"...."CAN I HEAR IT AGAIN!!? " My wife ,overhearing this sad tale , saying."Ive heard this song for years....never THOUGHT about the story as youve just told it..but its THERE ALRIGHT." Good songwrting indeed.
Horse lovers should enjoy the other youtube selections....LOTS of horse photos. AND the HOOT OWL!!........ spooky!!
This offering is very nice.......nicely filmed and nicely lit...nicely played, and WHAT A LOVELY GUITAR! ...sounds GREAT. Think Ill get the 12 string out, and capo at the second fret!
Thanks for sending this one up the line..........much enjoyed this morning by all of us here!

Nice, and good timing too. I was just about to send this one to Graham to add to the LTG song book.
This sounds real nice on 'Scratch'. :D
