Bing has been wondering the same thing himself. We received a ship date on the 60th anniversary but we haven't heard anything about the 180. I'll check.
Oooh, awesome, Bing... When are you expecting the 60ths to arrive?

+1

December, perhaps? There were a lot close to completion in October...

I don't have any word on the 180 yet, could be any time. Sounds like the 60th will be Early January.

NAMM show is January 24 - 27, 2013 so makes sense to get some of them in shops before the show.

I am so glad to see the name on the headstock and the guitars again..... I had a Starfire that smoked any competitors guitar I ever had. It is awesome, and maybe we dare to hope the Brand could make a comeback like Gretsch. Even if small scale. This looks great. They should've put some P-90's in this body size though, and let's hope that that is coming.

Fullers says they have five of these guitars, and they put a clip of 2/20 on youtube. The guy playing it is good, but it's hard to tell how jazzy it can get as his attack and style is much more bluesy than it is jazzy.

Thanks to all that PM'd me about 2/20. I have emailed Fullers to let them know of my interest, but I am at the mercy of the market as my '66 X-175 is still on the block, and that needs to sell before I buy anything. Surely someone needs a Christmas present from 1966!?

Since Fullers deals with vintage guitars, you might talk to them about a trade for the '66.

I will certainly suggest a trade as an option, but the value offered would factor into what I would be willing to pay as I would expect to get more for the 175 in a private sale. With that said I have not yet heard back from Fullers, so it is just speculation on my part. Another option may be to have Fullers sell my 175 on consignment, then apply that toward the 180. A better option is to just sell the 175 today! I will keep you all posted once I speak with Fullers.

Update from Fullers...

2/20 is mine for the taking once my X-175 sells. Christmas is less than 5 days away, and I have a '66 X-175, a Henriksen extension cab, and a Peavey Delta Blues 1x15 looking for new homes (the amp and cab in brand new condition, btw). Wouldn't all of these look great under a Christmas tree somewhere?
