I'm sure I'm late to the party to have found the gruvr.com website, but it is pretty cool to be able to find live music playing nearby or to track tour dates and location of your favorite performers. :) I, randomly, picked Gruene Hall and found that James McMurtry is playing there this Friday. Here is a map of where he's playing in the near future.

Toni, that is a neat site! Not only does it have concert listings, it has entertainment also. I did a distance search and up comes one of my favorites, that I have been wanting to see.................Larry the Cable Guy.

Very cool Toni! Up to this point I've been using pollstar.com. BTW, if you've never seen James McMurtry live, you really should. Fellow GF30 players we are, and he's a Texan, too. 8)

Very cool...here's a mild veer

In point of fact, James McMurtry comes to The Old Town School of Folk Music next month for 2 shows. The 10:30 show is wide open, seats available 10' from the mike stand. Might be a time for some of you kids to head to Chicago.

I saw James at this small place in Brooklyn called The Bell House this past June, and it was great. Just a small stage, and we were right up by him. He hasn't been back since, but I'm watching!

I'd think about coming to ChiTown Tony, but the LTG tour this year already has stops in Philly, LMG3 (hopefully), and Arlington, and we were in Orlando in January. It's been a busy year. :D

If I were in Chicago (a town that you and I love, Tony, fellow Boilermaker :) ), I would, definitely, go see James McMurtry. James is worth seeing!

I'm with Sandy about the LTG 2012 Jam Your Heart-out Tour: Orlando, Philadelphia, LMG III (TBA), & Arlington. Lots of opportunities to get-together to jam and meet LTGers. :::::happysmile:::: Below is the official (well, my official) tour poster. :D

Very cool, Toni; you're quite the artiste! 8)

I'm with you about getting together and playing with your friends; it's my favorite thing to do. Next stop Philly. :D
