RR sometimes popular luthiers use apprentices and assists in their work. If they're very well regarded they many times can't possibly do all the work that is brought to them. So maybe............ who knows? Take it back and ask is what I'd do. :eek:nthego:

David's shop is very small, so I doubt he has anyone there. I've only seen him. I haven't called him, since it came off with a bit of effort. I'm not sure what might be gained, at this point. Just some new customer telling him you missed a bit of glue that squeezed out when you re-applied the pick guard. Sure, if I had seen it at his shop, and pointed it out. But it was clear and I didn't see it until I got it home and really checked it out.
