It is tough to find that model with the Block inlay. Super cool axe!

It looks like a 6185, but those block inlays don't look right to me. Then again, anything goes when it comes to vintage Gretsch guitars.

Aforementioned guitar is whipped. Neck binding removed (probably rotted). Bridge pickup riser probably also rotted, and replaced with a wood shim - evidence of the rot can be seen in the horrid corrosion on the pickup bezel. Also needs a neck reset. OTOH, might be worth it for the pickups, if you have a replacement bezel.

The Dynasonics on your guitar have been replaced by TV Jones Filtertron-type pickups in a Dyna mount.

Looks like an early 50's 6187-8 to me. Rocky wins!
Eventually, these would get a cut-away and become the "Clipper"
