Opening for ZZ Top will be Kenny Wayne Shepherd. And kicking the whole evening off is my good friend Junior Valentine, who has been playing the blues around the mid-west for decades. It's going to be a great night!

You lucky.......

Yeah....for a fleeting moment, as Jr was laying the story out for me about how this all came together, I thought he might be making his way 'round to asking if I could sit in with him on bass or something........fleeting moments :neglected:

My friend (for whom Billy is his major guitar hero) saw them recently and was quite enthusiastic. Enjoy!

Billy is the man! Years ago I saw a very good ZZ Top cover band at a place called Nardi's Tavern in Long Beach Island, NJ. The crowd was very enthusiastic. So much so that a 60's something woman felt the urge to climb onto a table and rip off her top. That "Girl in a T-Shirt" had "Legs", and if her knockers weren't "Goin' Down to Mexico" I may have "Woke Up With Wood". :victorious:

Wow! What a great show! My ears are still kind muddy this morning. :cool-new:

Kenny did Kenny, Stevie, Jimi, & some Slim Harpo
ZZ Top threw in some Elvis & ended their second encore with Jimi's Foxy Lady

With soo many great tunes of your own, it's gotta be tough to decide what to pull out & what to leave behind for a show.
