Fantastic and thanks for all your help on the purchase. The resolution of the pictures is something I have never before experienced. This is the first time we sent out picture Christmas cards since the pictures we were taking were so crisp. We also picked up a 55-300mm telephoto lens. It is just a great camera.

That's really good to hear and keep in mind that it only gets better!
With the advent of digital, there's no excuse for not shooting a lot!

I came up with a cure for GAS earlier this month, the need for a new water heater, and even more next month with over two grand in needed renovations to the whole heat/hot water system. Of course, it's probably only temporary, but it means that the 12-fret slothead Recording King I was ready to buy will have to wait. On the upside, maybe when I'm back in the market there will be a Guild 12-fret slothead.
