I always forget the little percussive fingernail taps on the pickguard when I play this piece.

Pretty awesome!
She really does use her fingers very well. So talented. But it's one aspect of guitar I've always found fascinating.......the way people can make their own, unique sound on guitar. I am particularly fond of her thumb work.

Marcin Patrzalek is another of these young fingerstylists who incorporate percussing the guitar in their playing

Looking at the chord shapes in the Tears for Fears song, she must have long fingers! Getting the third finger to reach over to the low E string to get the right bass note and not mess up the other strings in some of those wide position chords looked like a serious stretch.

And so very fast and precise. She's amazing.

You know John, I have medium to medium to large sized hands, and I remember so well thinking Doyle Dykes must have enormous hands until I shook hands with him. Doyle has very small hands. I was shocked.
