GAD, that is an outstanding article! Kudos! Love the sound clips, too!

My Bluesbird did not come with a pickguard (fine with me!), and I replaced the clear plastic knobs with gold bell knobs. Mine is a cherry sunburst AAA, so the knobs look great. Like you, I find the pickups sound great as is, and I have no complaints about the neck width. I paid slightly more than you did for mine, which I considered an excellent deal.

Once again, thanks for that review, I enjoyed it!

BTW, I have a "collection" of Bluesbird advertisements, information, etc. I assume it is OK with you if I print this out?

Thanks for a great review. Some interesting facts about that era of Bluesbird (I wonder if the new NS 'Bird also has routes thAt will fit HB-1's?).
