We drove from Yellowstone to Kansas City a few years ago with NO SERVICE and I loved it! :friendly_wink:
I'm a big fan of....maps! :adoration:... no more using cellphones for GPS, let me tell you.
I think in your case it's just the Aussie security services requiring secret codes to pass through intercontinental calls.I thought I was the only one! I'm not alone? Cool! :monkey:
This is a phenomenon that merits head shaking, big time.Oh I've got one, but most times I climb a hill or get out of the hole I'm in to use it. What drives me nuts is folks who are on them 24-7. It's downright rude sometimes. I went to a lunch meeting where five of us sat down at the table to talk business. At no time were there less than three of the people at that table on their phones. One other gentlemen and myself just looked at one another and shook our heads.
