Since Tom got it set up properly, I'm really falling for this guitar. I had forgotten how nice older Westerlies sound! Here I am fooling with it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IU4tyUkjR8 . I'll add that video is a fabulous learning tool. You not only hear how bad you sound, but see how foolish you look!

love it. great sound does that F212. And it looks in banner shape. also, like the house, is it a cape?

Pass. That's a bit high, Wood, for a 112 needing work. At $500 it might be worth grabbing and shipping to FL. :)

thanks Chaz, that will be my offer then if I ever decide on it. It is just hanging there on the wall, actually the moved it higher and more out of the way...they do not even want to deal with it. I mentioned to the employee how that F112 is still here, and he said, "yup..."

Curious.....what is the ballpark price of his neck resets?? In my neck of the woods it runs from $400.00 from a famous Martin repair guy to $200.00 at a local shop.

Chiara you should just call or email him, price can vary according to a variety of factors like whether you need/ want a refret with the reset, is the neck bound, need a nut/ saddle and set-up, things like that.
Sometimes the low-ball quote doesn't really give you back a properly set-up and completely ready to play instrument.
My recollection is that the members who've used him believe the pricing is reasonable.
