Fishman electronics kaput?

Not mine but my bro’s guitar.
Won’t work. Even with new battery.

Also, when I try to re-insert the battery loaded module into the casing on the guitar it won’t totally click in all the way, but I can’t see anything blocking. Like cheap plastic parts that don’t quite fit together.

Maybe a silly question, but is it a lithium 9V battery? They have very slightly different dimensions than a carbon-zinc or alkaline battery.

Hmmmmm… it was alkaline I think he tossed me to put in there. Have to double check to be sure.

I would totally contact Fishman support. They consistently answer my questions. And you never know what they might do for you.
