I'm finally, after several years, gonna jam with a band. I'd been invited to a basement jam by my stepson for next week. He's been playing drums with some guys for the past year covering mainly classic and country rock and has asked me several times to join them. They're all in their thirties with occasionaly younger players sitting in (occasionaly older as well, I'm 52). I can't wait to give my X170's a workout! I think most there play solidbodies so it'll probably be kind of a trip when I whip out a Guild f-hole 8). He said all the guitars and amps I'll ever need will be there, so I'll be using their amps but I'll be taking my blonde X170. So if my tone sucks I can blame the amps :?. I like these kinda invites as I'm not having to know any songs they've worked on or anything..... just play! I might even throw an original jazz/groove thang in there if given a chance
