Winter Storm Warning, 15 degrees, and snow showers here in West Tennessee. The Weather Channel is predicting a few inches.
My son wants to get out and drive in it. So tomorrow we'll attempt a driving in the snow lesson.

Not snowing, but temperature is -12 Celcius with a wind chill
of -22 C., going down to -14C. later tonight.
Gonna wear my fur-lined gauchies and socks and take our three kitties to bed to stay warm.

Got down to 11F in Portland, yesterday. That's the coldest I can remember it here. Didn't get fluffy snow. Just a lot of frozen rain. We also had strong winds, so many fallen trees and power outages. We were fortunate to only lose power for 4 hours.

Well I'm jealous. I woke this morning to a light dusting of the white stuff. It's beginning to snow fairly steady right now (2pm), but the flakes are very small. It's quite cold outside. We'll have to see what happens overnight. I'm supposed to play at an open mic tonight at 10pm. I hope it doesn't accumulate too much by then. I grew up in northern New Jersey where the winter snow storms were fairly ample and common -- in the 1950s and 60s. Looks like back to the future at GG's house.

Rich,
I hope you have a block heater installed in your guitar.

16°F for those who don't know SI. :)
GGJ.,
Give a man who uses Farenheit the temperature in Celcius, and he'll know it until it changes.
Teach that man how to convert from one scale to the other and he'll always know the temperature regardless of how it is stated.
To convert from F to C:
C=5/9 (F)-32
To convert from C to F:
F= 9/5 (C)+32

Nothing like the old days of RWD snow donuts in the parking lot.

LOL. If anyone might need such a thing, it's your guitar(s).
Rich,
Nope,
The only time my guitars are played outside is a few times in the summer in our back yard.
In the winter they are only outside in their hard cases, going to and from house to car to guitar lessons, so block heaters not required.

Are you sure those parentheses are in the right place for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit? Also don’t you want to add 32?

The driving lesson in the snow went well. I'm glad we got to get out and experience driving in these conditions.

We got 4-6" of snow. Should make for a fun drive to work this morning. Sadly in my case, there's no such thing as being off, much less calling in...even in a blizzard. My boss' company also does state/federal snow removal/plowing. Today I'll likely spend 1/2 the day in a heated bobcat clearing snow at my boss' restaurant/Marina, and his house, mothers' house, sister's house, and 5-6 rental properties.

Midnight Toker,

Obviously, yours does.
