Question for you U.S members really. I would like to get my hands on a U.S made F20. They don't come up for sale on Ebay in the UK very often so I was wondering maybe that if any of you U.S LTGers see any coming up for sale over there you might give me the heads up. Not fussed about physical appearance, don't mind dings and finish checking, but don't want anything approaching neck reset territory.

many thanks guys

Here are the listings for F20s on eBay in the US:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1969-Guild-F-20-NT- ... 577wt_1024

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-1965-GUILD- ... 549wt_1024

http://cgi.ebay.com/1961-GUILD-F-20-NT- ... 562wt_1024

All obviously vintage guitars, but seem to be in reasonable shape.

two of those f-20's sold in the $1,000 range, but for the third seller is asking over $2K. Is there something about the third that makes it worth twice as much, or is the seller asking too much? I'd like to land an f-20 some day, too, but if they're going for $2k, it's going to be a long wait.

I've been watching F-20's off and on for a few months. IMHO the price on that one is quite high. Cosmetically it looks really nice, but it looks as if the saddle is barely above the top of the bridge - not a good sign. My guess is that the seller thinks that it will sell as a collectible - being a product of Hoboken and all that goes with it....

If you're at all interested in an M-20 instead of an F-20 there's one on the UK eBay -http://cgi.ebay.com/64-Guild-M20-Ho...al_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3a5f5be0bc

but it's a lefty :(
