I just put some on my Gibson short scale! The neck back bend says they are lighter tension than what was on there before (Daddario EXL rounds 40-95) even though they are 45-105. I like lighter tension, so that is good.

My experience with the standard long-scale set was that they were quite low tension indeed. Even the slightly heavier set -- can't remember if they were 50-105 or 55-110, but either way they were notably more supple and looser feeling than what might be considered standard/average/medium tension for strings of that gauge. That said, not quite as low as Thomastik Infeld low tension.

They just barely fit my Gibson and then immediately taper after the nut. Green silks at both ends. I am surprised they didn't give it at least another inch after the nut before the taper. But they fit and sound great. Hopefully they come out with medium scales, then the search will be over for Starfire flats.
