This is the best video I've seen of a DE-500 in action, played by Duane Eddy himself on the Conan O'Brien show on the eve of DE's 1994 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:



Does anyone know whether the other two guitars in the band are Guilds? The jazz box appears to have a chesterfield on the headstock.

I saw Duane's DE-500 at the first LMG, when it was in the paint shop after the flood restoration. I pinged Deed Eddy afterwards to say that I saw it. She said that Duane almost cried when he finally got it back. It was a mold covered wreck when NH got it.
