thanks and funny you brought that up. I was considering playing at least one before the wedding to work off the jitters and have an idea of what it is like to play in front of people, but I never found the time (the few weeks prior to the wedding were very busy work wise). What would you recommend as a open mic with a friendly environment? I am interested.

The only open mics I've been to aren't around any more - not sure what that means! :lol:
What part of Austin are you in? I'd be happy to meet you at one sometime; heck, we might even get a couple folks to drive in for an evening.
