Sad News For many in the Rock world. Former Divinyls singer Chrissy Amphlett has died in New York after a long battle with cancer. Amphlett, 53, lived in New York with her husband, former Divinyls drummer Charley Drayton.
A Long hard battle she fought, and was an inspiration to many living with cancer.
When she Rocked....She rocked! :wink:

I was never a big fan, but I did see them open for Dire Straits and they put on a good show. I guess they were much more popular in Oz?

....Ohhh Yes, and what a hit it was! :wink: Some folks can only inspire me just enough to 'dust my shelf'.......others to all kinds of 'inspirations'.
Chrissie was pretty inspirational in her way. :wink:
She was actually planning to use the song for a Breast Cancer ad ( No joke) Reminding women of the importance to self- examine, and stay safe.
She was quite a rockin' Lady. Died far too young.
