'84 to '86 I believe. Apparently there were different incarnations of both this and the D60. I'm not sure at all about the particulars, but there are physical differences between this and the '87 D60 I had. The top on this is so creamy I thought it might be englemann. Hans assured me that it probably wasn't, but it is one of the nicest tops I've seen on a production guitar. What years were the D-66's made?
Thanks onewilyfool, the D66 is one of the best of the best. The D60 is a great guitar, but now belongs to another. This must be pretty good to outshine your D-60.....many happy hours of playing
