Picked this off of e-bay a while back. Located a set of original tuners, fossilized mammoth ivory nut and saddle blanks on their way. Spectacular guitar, I don't think I've ever played anything that sounds quite like this! Quite a different guitar than the D60.

Nice! Was that the one that we talked about, that had gold Grovers on it?

Are the Grovers in good shape?
I could use a set for my Yamaha L20A.
The Gold tuners on it are wearing out.
I wonder how well they would even fit?
Thanks,
TMG.

Of all the guitars that I've owned, I regret selling my D66 the most (well, up until selling the GF60R to Graham).

Beautiful instrument.

Hey Pike, if you don't mind me asking, what did that beauty set you back? I hear what you're sayin about the sound. My D66 sounds like a baby grand.

Including the set of original tuners and fossilized ivory nut & saddle just a bit over $2600., worth every penny, hardly played.

Very very nice! The "brother" of my D-64, so I'm sure it sounds tremendous - a great guitar!

Absolutely gorgeous guitar, Pike!

I'm not a big bling fan, but that is about as tasteful looking of a higher end Guild as I've ever seen (for my tastes).

Ya did good on that one Pikester. Man what a fine looking guitar, and I'll bet it sounds like a million. Guild sure had a way with those high end rosewood dreads. Congratulations to you sir.
