Hey everyone...

I know it's been awhile...but I have a couple questions...

I ran across a D4 NT HR...a little ways away from me...I'm actually waiting on a call back on it...

Sooo...is this just an acoustic?? And is $449 a decent price for it??

OK...so I got the call back...they still have it...

checked the serial #...It's a 1997 Westerly...

Been trying to find comparable prices....

Not sure if $449 is in the ballpark...I'm guessing so...

If anyone can give me any input...that would be great...

It's quite a drive from me so I'm gonna have to set up a time to go see it...

I think a D4 NT HR is kind of like a D-25, with a natural top (no burst, no color) in the hand-rubbed finish.

Here's more: http://www.westerlyguildguitars.com/guitars/d4hr.html

As far as I'm concerned almost any Westerly Guild in good shape is worth $449.

If its in good shape, good action etc, and comes with a hard case, its a good price.Steffan

Tell me where you want it moved and I will be glad to move it.

I agree with the observation that a D-4 is basically a D-25. NT HR would be a natural, hand rubbed finish. I think $449 with a case would be reasonable. A D-25 at that price would probably have a lot of wear or cosmetic issues or be snapped up already.

Good luck.
