Loving this red Starfire III with P-90s. Thinking of trying a Compton brass bridge, on the stock Bigsby base. I do like the current setup, but the string spacing could be improved.

Anyway, Compton wants to know radius and string spacing. Eyeballing the guitar, I can't tell if it's 12", 10" or 9.5". Does anyone here know? Current string spacing at the bridge seems to be just shy of 2". The off spacing is between the B and the E, narrower than the others. Taking that into account - and considering the generous amount of fretboard available outside the outer strings, I'd say 2" and 1/16 might be better.

Can anyone here with a later SF III confirm these measurements? Thanks.

This gentleman was very helpful getting me specifications of my Corona X-150 (which has a 12" radius and 1-11/16" nut). I would give him a call on Monday.
