In checking the lay-out of the upcoming NAMM 2014, July 17-19 in Nashville, I stumbled across the fact that Cordoba Guitars/Guild Guitars will share the same booth(s), Booth 910, Exhibit Halls A & B and Music City Center All Levels....or, as it appears to me, the deal is done! Am I right? Sure hope so.

That's really interesting - if the deal is not "officially" done, it looks like they are pretty confident it will be!

Looks like they're not going to let an opportunity to get the "word" out on future offerings pass them by. Got to be a good sign.

Nice find Toni! :encouragement:
Now I wonder which Guild models they will show, there is hardly any time to assemble some for that show in a yet to be built up workshop!

I hope we'll get a first hand report from Jane. She seems to be LTG's "boots on the ground" at NAMM. :-D

My thoughts exactly - are they going to show guitars with wet paint?

It's my understanding, Ralf, that all of the "A" stock that was not sold at the NH factory went to CMG in California. So if someone has the most recent "A" stock list for sale, a little deductive reasoning should/would indicate what models might be at Summer NAMM, give or take a few models. Wasn't there a few "A" stock Orpheums - 14-fret dreads and 12-fret slope shoulder dreads?

That would make no sense. They would need to show the models they plan to produce in the near future again. Sure they can show Newark St. models and GAD models if they continue that path (and it sounded to me they will). But for US production I think they can only show what they plan to do and that might not necessarily be the remaining unsold stock from NH.

If only it were a perfect world......

I really don't care what Guilds are in the booths....I'm just encouraged that Guild will have a presence (whatever it may be) at Summer NAMM with its new owner (or soon-to-be new owner).

Here is the most recent A Stock list that I received for Carl, dated June 2nd. I imagine quite a few of these went unsold.

Just my opinion of course, but I don't see anything wrong with putting some of these on display.

I know that New Hartford had a few months before the winter 2009 NAMM show to build a number of prototypes before Tacoma was shuttered (which had occurred just weeks before that show). Most of the booth had Tacoma-built guitars, but there were some initial D-55s (the first product from NH) shown at that show.

I wonder how long this CMG deal has been in the works. I honestly don't think it's been long enough for them to actually build any Guilds for summer NAMM, but wouldn't that be interesting.. I suspect these will be New Hartford guitars, if anything, and the point is to get the word out. CMG has a lot to be excited about carrying the torch now!

There were two X-150s, one natural, the other ATB. Pretty sure that those didn't get sold, would be cool to see them at the show!
