On the one hand I love wacky artistic pedal designs like this.

On the other hand, make them all the same (at least the cable in/outs) so they're easier to wire on a pedal board.

That's one reason why I like these inexpensive JOYO brand pedals. Most of theirs models have the inputs, outputs and 9VDC jack in the same place.
