Definitely fingernail gouges on that fretboard.

IMO a more-rational asking price would be about $1200, possibly less given those fingernail gouges.

I was thinking more like $1000. I bought three New Hartford standard models (one a bass) that were dead mint for that or less.

All within the last two years, two within the last year. They're out there, but there's less of them all the time.

I going to mention that lady two years their was a pot to pick from but not so much . The F30's that went back we're 1100-1200. Sone higher . Only thing was the contemporary series which were a bit cheaper .

Heck theirs only listed now a CV-1 factory release model no mric for 1,000

My best chance of getting a deal would be from here but like all things most folks want deals but don't wanna give them lol

Yeah. I'm not up on this model, but I thought the same thing -- Why is this priced so high? It's not even an ebony board. Nothing real fancy. It is a New Hartford with a burst, but....

I guess case candy on new guitars should include fingernail clippers.

This is new for me, but I spend quite a bit of time on my nails now, learned a lot about how to have decent nails, and it's all about the filing, they're like hooves, they have grain, file from the outside in. Filing is the key.

I had to earn how to do it myself, to avoid the "filing fees" ;-)

Those are crazy fingernail grooves, all the way to the G on the Low E?

I've never seen them much beyond the D chord area...

That's the F40 body, the CO is the F30 body.
Also, it seems this happens when there's no new production of a model, we saw it with F50's and D55's before Oxnard finally started making 'em again, although honestly not sure if asking prices on the used ones have since come down, I don't really pay much attention.
Suspect when Oxnard finally starts making F30's the used market will adjust accordingly.

I find this cut-away to be down right butt ugly.

To each their own as they say, but in this case I've gotta agree with you. Martin & Larrivee have cutaways similar to this on certain models, and they're just plain odd looking - like a total afterthought, where someone just came along & took a bite out of it. Guild has produced many models with lovely lines on their cutaways, but to my eyes, this isn't one of them.

All of that aside, the price does seem rather high for this guitar.

You had your chance! I just offered the D50 Standard here for a killer deal, and what I had into it.

I didn't need a dread I rarely play my Blue any more and she's bloody fantastic my opinion of coarse . Lol

Ray's been looking for the right F30 for a while.
:friendly_wink:

I luv you Al 🥰
Yes a F30 and F30R/RC / RCE , I don't really have a need for pickups .

Oh well, don't have one of them, but I do have an Orpheum OM that's definitely not for sale!
That's on my list as well 12 fret and 14 fret hog and Rose if they pass my keeper testing lmao . 😁

OK, why odes it look like the slot's a little bit crushed out at the front of the D slot?

Al thanks for playing , answer I don't know but it's trivial it gives me an excuse to upgrade to Fossilized Walrus if and only if she passes Ags tonal test . Lol

It he here Tuesday so it says and it seems I'm going to have another delivery the same day which is Strings and my New amp ! Yup it's time to fire up the electrics ! Lol
